Mastery Learning Episode of the Cult of Pedagogy Podcast

I just started listening to the Cult of Pedagogy podcast. This episode about mastery learning is a strong start to the show and gives me hope that I might have found an educational podcast that is actually good!

The guest of this episode was Sal Khan, of Khan Academy fame. He is my educational rock star and I always get fired up being him talk! Of particular interest was the minimum effective dose of mastery learning. According to this interview, having mastery leathering experiences just once a week has a measurable effect on student achievement.

The host Jennifer Gonzalez did a great job asking good questions and I am excited to listen to more episode and read more posts from her site.
